Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.
Kenyan Lewis is a master of stuff. Under the name bykenyan, he designs furniture, styles props, decorates sets, and generally handles any kind of assignment that involves putting attractive objects in interesting places. (If you've been to Earnest Sewn, you might have seen his work.) Starting today, Lower East Side boutique Gargyle hosts a "prop-up" shop—get it?—of Lewis's work in conjunction with the neighborhood's (capsule) menswear festival. All of the many objects styled, created, or curated by Lewis will be 15% off, as will be Gargyle's collection of clothing. The shop runs 11am to 7pm through Tuesday, July 21st.
