WEST VILLAGE—Motivated by our Store Sidekicks post, the owners of a Shiba Inu named Shio took their pet to Little Marc to visit Roy, the store's pup. A confrontation ensued—not between Shio and Roy, but between Shio and the store's stuffed lion. The video above lasts only thirty seconds, but the face-off apparently went on for about ten minutes. ONLINE—To balance out the cuteness above, here's a classic, caustic reader rant about the woes of online shopping: "Hautelook supposedly jazzed up their website this weekend—well, today it doesn't work. I've been trying to get into the BCBG sale for an hour now and have gotten a random assortment of various error messages—the latest of which was 'An exception occurred while bootstrapping the application.' Not sure what 'bootstrapping' means unless it's fashion speak for 'our website doesn't work.'" Anyone else have problems with the site? [Racked Inbox]
