Alert: Faux-vintage denim store Amoskeag XX has installed a flag outside its windows. One side heralds the shop's logo, while the other says "Made in L.E.S." Bowery Boogie interprets: "Considering the upscale denim boutique is often empty, this new addition might be a desperate play to alert the throngs of tenement tourists to its mere existence." True—but it might also be a way of distinguishing the shop, at 96 Orchard Street, from neighbor Earnest Sewn, down the street at number 90.
