If at any time, you doubt the wisdom of living in New York City and paying what you do in rent or to go out, take a moment to remember that in and amongst the running to dry cleaners and setting mouse traps, you could have a moment such as sitting across from Christian Louboutin at dinner.
This is exactly what happened to our good friend last night, who, while out to Soho's Boqueria restaurant on Spring Street, spotted the Loubs himself sporting a very summery blue-and-white stripe jacket and eating tapas with a medium-size party.
Okay, so maybe he kind of resembled a beach cabana, but still, the king of the red soles is not someone we're used to seeing out and about. Perhaps this is a great time to remind that the sale in his boutiques, of up to 40% off the spring/summer 09 collection, is still raging.
