The Wall Street Journal has an early peek at Louis Vuitton's interesting new ad campaign featuring astronauts Buzz Aldrin, Sally Ride and Jim Lovell. "Aldrin walked on the moon in 1969. Now he and the others will appear in photos shot by Annie Leibovitz, sitting on the hood of a battered pickup truck, gazing wistfully at the stars as the wind blows through their hair." Also sitting on the truck? "Vuitton’s $1,530 'Icare' travel bag named for Icarus, the hero of Greek mythology who dies when he flies too close to the sun. Is that a little weird?" [WSJ via Coutorture]
