Two of the most powerful entities in fashion and media—Topshop CEO Sir Philip Green and Simon Cowell—have joined forces to form a new entertainment venture.WWD reports that the duo are working on "a multifaceted, multichannel project that would create content for Europe and the U.S., entertain audiences and market a variety of products linked to the TV shows," and are looking at Disney as a potential merchandising partner. Full details aren't due to be released for a few weeks, but we're imagining something along the lines of 'America's Next Big Backup Dancer' branded jazz shoes, or 'The Race for Miss New Jersey' hair spray.
