New York Pride Week, undoubtedly the most Roy G. Biv-friendly of all festival weeks this summer, began last Saturday and Marc Jacobs' Bleecker stores were ready to go. Instead of redoing their displays, which aren't all that impressive anyways, Marc has simply sprayed his windows with "Be Proud! We Are!"
This, we argue, is far better than producing T-shirts with rainbow confederate flags or other cheap tote bags, as the "we are" makes one think of how cute a couple Marc and beau Lorenzo are. It's a little personal nod to the festivities that will happen in the West Village this week, and yet they happen to be the most eye-catching windows currently on Bleecker.
