Walking in to the Dolce & Gabbana sale at the Metropolitan Pavilion in Chelsea, we were immediately overwhelmed. There's so much there that it's hard to know where to start. The space is divided into two sections, one where clothes and shoes are all 75% off and one where they're priced according to a complicated code (but still between 50-70% off retail.) Both sections contain wide ranges of merchandise—everything from lingerie to evening gowns—but we kept finding the same dresses over and over. And shoes and bags were a free-for all.
Items are still pricey, and you'll be needing more than your lunch break in order to successfully browse the racks. With time, we dug up some cute cocktail dresses, but this is definitely a sale that rewards hunting. True fans of the line will enjoy themselves the most, since they'll finally be able to buy that $2795 leopard tank top they've always wanted. The rest of us might be leaving empty-handed, but with fuller wallets.—Daniella Lavian
