Ever since Williamsburg record store Sound Fix annexed the adjacent cafe and turned it into a bar and live music venue, it's faced trouble from numerous city agencies. The bar, in fact, got shuttered this winter. But this is the rare record store tale with a happy ending. According to Brownstoner, Sound Fix has found a new location, at North 11th Street and Berry. "The new space in a 90-year-old renovated loft building will enable the store to expand the selection of music it offers," they report, "but the days of selling beers and bagels are behind it." Still, better a beerless Sound Fix than no Sound Fix at all. [Brownstoner]
