Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

"Writing this e-mail feels to me like eating a bowl of spaghetti and meatballs while watching a volcano explode" writes Racked obsession Rob Bryn, who has returned to his job as professional email newsletter writer for Williamsburg shop The Shoe Market.

Today's delightfully weird email alerts us to the fact that the store is having a 20% off sale on men's shoes this weekend and that Judi Rosen (of the now-shuttered boutique The Good The Bad & The Ugly) will be stopping by on the 20th, 21st, 27th and 28th of July to sell her wares in the alley next to the store. Bryn's endorsement: "I mean, I'm a boy and I'm stupid and I all I can think about is hand grenades and wanting to play football and throw mudpies at girls, but Judi Rosen's shit is sexy as hell. I love high waisted pants and jeans and shorts and I feel like lo-rise is a curse that Britney Spears helped put on us." Rob, we're glad you're back.
