If you thought this Friday's iPhone 3G S launch would be any less of a shitshow than the one we documented last year, think again. AppleInsider tells us that pre-order stock has already sold out, and anyone placing an order from Saturday, June 13 on should expect a 7-14 day wait before their phone arrives. But for those who simply can't go two more weeks without an in-phone compass, the blog says there's still hope. "Those...who still want an iPhone 3G S the same day will have to wait at an AT&T (or Apple) store until regular availability starts at 8 a.m. rather than the 7 a.m. early access time touted earlier this week."
