Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

MIDTOWN—Next Tuesday, June 16th, at 10:30am, the Gap's khaki-themed collaboration with CFDA nominees officially launches at the Gap flagship at 54th Street and Fifth Avenue. The collection hits other stores on June 17th, but getting your hands on it all a day early isn't the only reason to swing by on Tuesday—you'll also get to meet Patrick Robinson, Alexander Wang, Albertus Swanepoel and Vena Cava's Lisa Maycock and Sophie Buhai, who will be hosting the festivities. ONLINE—A tipster writes in: "Was just meandering through and saw that they're giving away 23 free songs on iTunes. Good mix of stuff, enough to get through one more work day till the weekend. Check it out. You can also download about 100 other songs off there for free, all prepackaged nicely. I feel like a pirate again." Ahoy, matey. [RackedWire]
