An alarmed tipster emails with breaking news: Right this moment workers are in position over the giant DKNY billboard at 600 Broadway, unpacking brushes, opening paint cans and generally readying to cover up the iconic ad with a new Hollister mural. Writes our on-the-scene informant: "Wanted to share these pics I just snapped 10 minutes ago. The scaffolding is up and they are about to start covering the beloved Soho landmark. So sad." The end result should look something like this. It's the end of an era! And the beginning of a strongly-scented, nubile new one.
