The star of Derek Lam's store opening party on Wednesday night was not the boutique's futuristic interior (courtesy of architectural firm SANAA), nor was it the glittery clothing all those swooping, clear partitions housed. No, instead the spotlight was trained firmly on singer Rihanna, who showed up to the event in a white, high-waisted Lam pantsuit.
The store opened to the public yesterday. Rihanna, is, of course, long gone—now beautiful clothing and accessories are the shop's main focus.
