Norma Kamali for Wal-Mart Still Going Strong

Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

Now that Wal-Mart is slowly siphoning newly budget-conscious shoppers away from boutiques, will more women be sporting Norma Kamali for Wal-Mart to work?

In the newest flood of cheap and chic basics from the several seasons-old collaboration, Norma includes a versatile 8-way top for $20, Bermuda shorts for $13 and the $18 batwing cardigan which sold out so quickly in the past. We're a bit skeptical of the pants styles because we doubt they'd do well on anyone under 5'6", but at $20 and less, we're willing to hear their case.

Just keep in mind that although the collection now features over 100 items, including sandals and a bag, they are still rare in stores. Forget trucking out to New Jersey, this is one collab where it actually works best to shop online and judge quality and fit as they arrive.
