In our comments section, readers have weighed in on two of the quieter sales running this week: Falls and Julie Haus/Gustto. Conveniently, they're both located on West 38th Street. About Falls: "Checked this out during my lunch break. Really quiet at this sale, mostly older shoppers. Four racks of clothes and a table of knits. All silk dresses are $40, all cashmere is $50. A few really beautiful silk pieces in royal blue, but I walked out empty handed." On Julie Haus/Gustto: "Sale was well stocked with good prices. I picked up two sample dresses for $55 each and an older style for $40. It was crowded but not unbearable. Ms. Haus was there too, helping out with her husband at checkout! Great sale."
