While you were off sunning yourself over the weekend, the staffers of a Union Square Gamestop were trapped in their store while thousands of bees swarmed outside. "Worried-looking employees could be seen on the phone looking out the window as bees clustered around. Someone inside put a sign in the store window warning passers-by: 'Look! ... closed due to bee infestation.'" Luckily, an amateur beekeeper eventually happened by, and managed to collect most of the insects in a box. [amNY; NYP]
