WEST VILLAGE—This Saturday from noon to 5pm, John Bartlett teams up with the North Shore Animal League for an in-store pet adoption event "to honor his best friend, Tiny Tim, a handsome, three-legged shepherd-Rottweiler mix" (per the press release, which, we will admit, made us slightly misty.) Barlett adopted Tiny Tim from the League in 2003 and turned him into the face of the brand. Even if you're not set up to take home a rescue cat or dog this weekend, you can stop by the shop, at 143 Seventh Avenue South at Charles Street, and buy a Tiny Tim logo tee—all proceeds benefit the animal shelter. SOHO—Writes a tipster: "The upcoming Etro store at 89 Greene Street (corner of Greene and Spring) has put an awesome "downtown themed" covering to hide their construction. Not sure if this has been reported and unfortunately I don't have my camera but you have to check it out. It's HUGE!" If you happen to snap a photo, send it our way. [Racked Inbox]
