A few weeks ago, when dozens of inflatable dinosaurs turned up in the windows of Stella McCartney's store in the Meatpacking District, we weren't sure what to think. The plastic toys didn't fit Stella's eco-friendly ethos, but we were charmed by the windows' goofy exuberance. Apparently, so was Brooklyn Industries, which arranged a similar assortment of beach balls and blow-up animals in the window of their Bedford Animal shop. Of course, the resemblance might be accidental, but doesn't that giraffe up front look kind of sad he wasn't invited to the Stella party?
