Last night, a Vanity Fair blogger posted her own account of the Christian Louboutin sale. Along with other editors, she had to stand outside for hours before being admitted: "We were continually yelled at by a doorman to stand single file. Our stomachs started rumbling as a pizza-delivery guy carrying a stack of pies waltzed past us. We watched some fashionistas fall out of line. 'It’s like The Amazing Race for magazine editors!' we overheard one damsel declare. Then we were finally allowed to entered Mecca, where there were rows upon rows of brown boxes arranged by size...The wait was worth it—it was pretty much impossible not to score no matter what size shoe you were."
