Let your memory wander for a moment all the way back to September 2008, during the hot and wet Fashion Week that was, and remember how the city was full of promotional models stuffing your arms with pamphlets and delicious little LU biscuit cookies.
Well, they were only delicious the first 10 times, until we began living off of them as the only free nourishment at the Tents at Bryant Park. And now, eight months later, the Lu Girls have returned for the summer.
Still sporting their Erin Fetherston dresses and sweetly saying "Chic little biscuits" to passers-by, the promotional models targeted Meatpacking District spots this weekend with the most ICFF (International Contemporary Furniture Fair) action. We think it's fair to expect them to reappear throughout the season at any big events featuring fashion or design, since those dresses haven't gotten threadbare yet.
