We're getting flooded with Blackberried and iPhoned-in tips about the lengthy line to enter the Elizabeth and James/LaROK sale that opened this morning at 11am in Soho. One: "Line is about 60 people long. Slow but steady movement." Another "I should've gotten here sooner!" The holdup may be due to the mandatory bag check upon entrance.
[Tipster: "At 11:10 not sure of this is worth it."]
Keep the tips coming, and let us (and your fellow shoppers) know if it the deals are indeed worth waiting for.
Update: A report from inside the sale from a former line waiter: "The sale is good if you like E and J. Got caftan for $65. A woman on line told me it was $150 at last sample sale. Kids LaROK clothing cute and $10. Lots of drapey black LaROK tops for $20. Best deal is E and J "basic" ts which seems to mean anything largely made of cotton. Only $15. Line check slow as mud and you can only bring wallet. Now I can dress like Mary Kate. Life complete."
