As if there isn't enough sale madness going on in the city right now, LA-based luxury resale boutique Decadestwo has touched down in Soho for a few days. The Decadestwo pop-up shop, located above Kiki de Montparnasse on Greene Street, opens to the public tomorrow at 11am. The ladies at Fashionista had an early look at what's available:
Walking in the doors was like entering an other-worldly paradise where only beautiful things reside. We spotted Natalie Portman’s black and blue Rodarte, the pink Oscar dress Carrie pulls out of Baryshnikov’s box, nude Louboutins and navy Lanvin pumps, perfectly worn in Balenciaga motorcycle bags, a mint green Valli gown, a McQueen caftan, Westwood bustiers and an entire rack of Chanel tweed.Beautiful, yes, but also (we assume) very, very expensive. The bloggers left without opening their wallets; at a preview party, it was dubbed the 'credit fraud' shopping event because "big purchases...prompted so many inquiries from credit card companies."
