Bergdorf Goodman may be a little hyped up on the Lanvin this week in their windows, but they saved a single spot on Fifth Avenue for something nicely self-indulgent: a showcase of the new Nancy Gonzalez bags named for Bergdorf's Senior VP Linda Fargo.
Calling it a tribute to her first account, Nancy designed the bag for maximum customization; choose from three sizes and 30 colors, materials and finishes to bring a little Linda into your closet. Since anything named for a fashion player such as Linda can't come cheap, expect these babies to cost between $2,950 and $5,000. While we'll stick to toting our lunch in a Bergdorf shopping bag, at least these won't be as ubiquitous as Marc Jacobs' Stam bags.
