Now Open: Omega Gives Fifth Avenue the Time of Day

Well, it's about time that New York City gets our very own Omega watch store, only three years following the first US shop in Beverly Hills. Even so, it's quite obvious that this isn't the best economic climate for debuting a luxury wristwatch flagship.

If our visit to the packed-to-the-gills shop yesterday says anything about their future, however, it's that Omega has nothing to fear but retail fear itself. Situated in the the old Fifth Avenue Dunhill space, Omega is cozied up to the Disney Store and Escada, leaving dads to play while wife and kids are away.
