24 hours after Topshop opened in Soho, the scene is quiet—quiet and damp. Out front, the barricades are still up to control the traffic, but there is no traffic. Occasional shoppers trickle in and come out with Topshop totes, but without the lures of Kate Moss and free giftcards, the place looks like any other Soho store on a rainy Friday morning.
