Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.
Valley, the LES boutique/beauty parlor tucked into a building on lower Orchard Street, is leaving for the greener pastures of Nolita. Though they don't yet have a firm moving date, and aren't able to reveal their new address (the lease has yet to be signed), they are definitely relocating. Co-owner Julia Werman told Racked that they simply didn't need that much space, and that they will continue their beauty services (nails, waxing, facials) at the new location, but will stop carrying clothing. Valley's number will remain the same, so just give them a call to find out where exactly you should head for your next Brazilian.
