Mayle fans are saying goodbye to the label this weekend by lining up en masse for the brand's last-ever big sale. This was the scene outside the Mayle boutique at 242 Elizabeth Street this morning; the tipster who sent the photo in simply captioned it "NUTS!" Well, the brand did really sell this last markdown fest as a big deal on their website, writing: "This isn't your standard, every last dreg from the bottom of the barrel plus the kitchen sink type of sample sale. Oh no. There are words for this kind of sample sale, or their should be. Words like 'bonanza'...or 'hoe down'...or 'big up'..." Or, shitshow.
