Lauren Conrad's design ambition will not be quashed. The star of reality TV show The Hills, who had little success with her own line of flowy tops and dresses that cost hundreds of dollars, is now collaborating with Kohl's.
According to the Times, LC will debut "a casual California-inspired clothing line for young women in 300 Kohl’s stores and on Kohls.com" in October called LC Lauren Conrad. Pieces will retail for $20 to $60. Later, Kohl's will stock the line in all its stores. Lauren's not the only Hills character to turn "designer"—remember Heidi Montag's failed Heidiwood label? And don't forget Whitney Eve, Whitney Port's girly collection. Who isn't designing clothes these days?
