A reader files a report from the surprisingly quiet Tahari sale, on through Saturday in Midtown: "I just went to the Tahari sample sale this morning, and there were only three people standing on line at 8:15am (and the sale started at 8:30am). It was a breeze looking through the merchandise, and each girl had a rack to herself in the dressing rooms. It was shockingly quiet...did everyone go to the TopShop opening?! The sale had a ton of great merchandise from a couple of seasons (including a lot of springtime looks). The dresses, blouses and coats were plentiful, and they had a lot of really cute embellished metallic flats. Good range of sizes. They haven't dropped prices yet, but I assume they will soon. I'd take a Tahari sale over the TopShop madness any day!" [Racked Inbox]
