COBBLE HILL—Cute little Smith Street boutique Epaulet has branched out into designing its own dresses. The first of these, the brightly-colored little silk number at right, sells for $225 and is known as the Ella. [Racked Inbox]
DOWNTOWN BROOKLYN—In the cat-throwing trial of the century, former Project Runway contestant Kenley Collins pleaded guilty to charges that she'd hurled her then-fiancé's pet Arlo at him during an argument. While the judge gave her a conditional discharge, the engagement went bust right about the time Arlo took to the air. The Brooklyn Eagle, which has been steadily on top of this story since it first surfaced, reports that the ex-fiancé "wrote a song called 'CAT?' for Collins’ Runway finale." Which is ironic, since "CAT?" is exactly what we would yelp if someone tossed one at us. [Brooklyn Eagle]
