[Photos via Odd Twin]Beacon's Closet is getting some competition in Park Slope. A new vintage shop named Odd Twin Trading Co. has arrived on Fifth Avenue and Lincoln Place in the storefront that formerly housed Urban View Realty. An enthusiastic (perhaps too enthusiastic?) informant writes:
As a major vintage/thrift shopper myself (an avid Beacon's Closet shopper especially) this new store blows every other vintage store I've been to recently out of the water. The selection of merchandise is AMAZING! Men's, women's and some home decor. It opened up last Saturday and I went that day and again yesterday and the buzz and energy at the store is incredible. Packed both visits and bought something on both occasions.Has anyone else been? And if so, does Odd Twin really blow all other vintage shops out of the water? To us, those sound like fightin' words from an Odd Twin staffer.
