While reviews of the J.Crew sale are mostly meh, we've heard some positive things about the Paul Stuart sale, on through Thursday on West 33rd Street. A tipster writes: "Markdowns 70-80% from retail. Ties 5/$100 or 70% off. Shoes $150-200. Very good selections in all sizes for suits and jackets, more picked over in sportswear, sweaters, and shoes. Lots of bright pink, green, and yellow jackets/suits. A wonderful pair of scalloped purple shorts could be yours. Sale also has lots of very very old gentlemen who are very well-dressed the way my grandpa is well-dressed. Aren't these people too old to know what a sample sale is? Left empty-handed."
