Over the weekend, the owners of Greenpoint-based fashion label Hayden-Harnett opened their first Manhattan boutique at 253 Elizabeth Street in Nolita. The clean-lined store is evidence of just how far the company has come since its inception as an accessories brand. The boutique does house HH's bag and small leather goods lines, but there are also racks of clothing, plus an assortment of gifty items from other companies: Kobo candles, Digby & Iona jewelry, La Compagnie de Provence soaps and lotions, and Yee-Haw letterpress stationary. A giant fiddle fig tree, and scattered succulents, provide some in-store greenery.
