It was only a matter of time; we mean, could a store selling cardboard vases and chairs do well alongside Emporio Armani? Alas, it is sad to see the end of a store which sells innovative American-made, recycled, chemical-free and eco-friendly wares. We assume they'll return to being a web-only operation, at Cardboarddesign.com, leaving the shoe box-sized space on West Broadway empty.
