UNION SQUARE—Did you catch Dan Humphrey wearing a Strand t-shirt on Gossip Girl last night? The bookstore is clearly very proud of its relationship to Dan. In a press release sent out this afternoon, they note, "In the 9th Gossip Girl book, Dan Humphrey works at the Strand Book Store! AND, the books on the shelves behind Dan—in some of those shots—are Strand’s Books by the Foot!" In related news, Ed Westwick modeled a man-skirt in last night's Dress to Kilt fashion show, possibly at the very same moment that Dan, on TVs across the nation, was pointing out that it's hard to find Chuck Bass threatening while he's wearing plaid.
