They closed down the Au Bon Pain on Fifth Avenue and West 15th Street for this?another Seven For All Mankind? What we mean is, aren't their fresh spaces on Bleecker and West Broadway close enough for those truly desperate for designer denim? Of course, they have to think of the competition, what with True Religion in Union Square proper and Lucky Brand only a few blocks north on Fifth.

In any case, things are moving right along for the Seven on Fifth, as they've finished replacing the windows and built out the plywood to complete the renovation of the storefront. At this quick pace, we'll predict an opening to come in late April, just in time for a little summer denim spree (don't they wish).
