Mike & Chris Is Not Going Out of Business

A few months ago, the fate of Cali label Mike & Chris seemed uncertain. There were notices on their NYC showroom door for non-payment of rent, and they didn't show up for a scheduled sample sale, leaving many shoppers angry and adrift on the far west side. But then, they were given a new lease on life when they were acquired by a larger company. All seemed to be fine; it was a happy ending. But recently, rumors of Mike & Chris' bankruptcy began cropping up anew. And a few days ago, DailyCandy LA sent out a mailer stating that there was a 'Mike & Chris Going Out of Business Sale' scheduled for this weekend.
