There has been a lot of crazy zipper action this year. Recall Phillip Lim's dresses and skirts with ruffles made from zippers? That's what we're talking about. Now Alexander Wang, no stranger to scattering zippers across his designs, has dreamt up a new usage for the metal teeth. He's collaborated with Superfine on three styles of jeans, including an $375 extra-lean pair that have zippers up both legs, so you can remove them like those tear-away warm-up pants. Aside from the comfort issues (we imagine that snagging bits of sensitive hip flesh might be a risk that comes with wearing these), we wonder how flattering they'd be on. Like, could anyone aside from Wang-muse Wasson pull these off? Another Wang x Superfine style, available at Oak, is tight in the leg and baggy in the waist and groin area. Because there must be one new unflattering denim trend each season.
