Sunday Saturday evening, Whole Foods will turn down the lights in each of its locations. The supermarket hopes that when its single shoppers lock eyes in the gloaming over the mixed baby greens, they'll make a love connection. But this isn't entirely about romance—it's also eco-friendly. Per the press release: "From 8:30 to 9:30, Whole Foods Market locations will turn off computers, printers, unoccupied office lights, 'back of house' lights and all in-store case lights, while making periodic announcements to notify customers about the importance of Earth Hour." That should really set the mood. [Racked Inbox]
