Erin Wasson held a garage sale at her boyfriend's store this weekend, and RackedLA was there to witness the chaos than ensues when a model sells a career's worth of designer clothing for $100 an item. Five minutes after the doors opened, the racks were cleaned out. "'I didn't expect it all to go so quickly,' Wasson told us, adding that shoppers started to line up outside at 9:30am. She went on to say that although some of the sale items had sentimental value—like a pair of Balenciaga shoes personally given to her by Nicolas Ghesquiere that were sold almost instantly—she cleared her closet of everything she hadn't worn in six months, and the whole process was 'really cathartic.'" Proceeds went to the Best Friends Animal Sanctuary. [RackedLA]
