A dedicated sample sale spy has this to say about the Built By Wendy sale, on through Sunday at both the Nolita and Brooklyn stores: "Stopped by the Centre Market Place store an hour into the sale, and there was still a lot of stock, with more coming. Most were M/L, XSs were already scarce. Same prices as the online sample sale a few weeks ago, which were quite recession-friendly. Most expensive item was $110, for denim leggings-esque skinny jeans. Majority of items were $30-$60, and that includes good-quality cotton dresses, wool jumper, skirts, button-downs ($30), henleys ($10) and thick cotton cardigans ($40). One rack and one bookcase of men's clothes, mostly size XL. I bought the last cashmere sweater ($60). They say the sample stock was split between the Manhattan and Brooklyn stores, so there might be different stock in each location." [Racked Inbox]
