Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

Gowanus Lounge notes that jewelry line St. Kilda has opened a store on Fifth Avenue in Park Slope, a development that makes more and more sense as we click through their website's slideshow of styles. St. Kilda specializes in precious and semi-precious stones, but the overarching aesthetic isn't polished or prim. Instead, the pieces tend towards chunky settings and edgy-but-not-too-edgy themes like snakes and daggers. One necklace comes engraved with a quote from Rilke; another was inspired by vintage French wallpaper. It all hits that expensive-boho sweet spot, and we have a feeling Park Slope is going to love it.
