LA might be getting the first Monocle boutique, but it's not like New York is being neglected by the coveted magazine-turned-shop demographic. The Pipeline brings word that hip journal Dossier plans to open a store in Fort Greene this April. The retail version of Dossier will "serve as an extension of the magazine, stocking literature, art, cool young designers, and even plants to brighten up your office or apartment with." There's also going to be a vintage selection, and better yet, they'll be offering a 40% buy-back rate on consignment items—that's 5% higher than you'll get nearly anywhere else. The shop is currently building a stock of vintage for opening day, so email katherine@dossierjournal.com if you've got any high-quality, non-polyester items you think might fit the bill.
