Monocle, a magazine that's spawned a London boutique, is taking its wares to the US. According to Fashion Week Daily, a Monocle Shop will open first in LA, and then in NYC. The LA store "will feature new collaborations between the brand and designers, like the Comme des Garçons' Hinoki candle, a unique sweatshirt from Tomorrowland, and a high-tech running kit created with John Smedley." There's no word yet as to where the NYC store will be located, but wouldn't it be a nice fit for the West Village? [FWD]
