First, the bad news: Our shoppingfest at Housing Works in Chelsea last night wasn't necessarily the most star-studded of Fashion Week events. Taylor Momsen was not in attendance (although she is following our Twitter!) and Joy Bryant was nowhere to be seen. It was, however, quite a good time, particularly if you like $35 Vivianne Tam wrap dresses or $40 Armani silk pants. Guests shopped racks of party-worthy clothing, including a "Coffee Talk"-style top so heavy with sequins that it broke the hanger. Around 8 the bar ran out of glasses, causing a minor crisis and prompting guests to wonder about the etiquette of drinking from the bottle, but then someone showed up with plastic cups and the evening was saved. Thank you, anonymous cup donor, whoever you are. And thanks, everyone, for coming! Maybe we'll do it again some time.
