A Racked reader has sent in a rave review of the Secrets of Charmsale, on through Friday in the West Village: "While luckier folk run around the tents figuring out what they'll be wearing next season, mere mortals can pick up great things to wear, PERIOD, at the SOC sale. If you like silky, updated vintage looks, this is heaven. Sadly, SOC is going on a... hiatus, thanks to our crappy economy. This means that they are getting rid of all of their sample stock at ridiculously low prices, mostly from SS08, AW08, and a couple of SS09 samples that will never go into production. *tear* All samples in the bin are only $20. Pretty silk dresses, $20. Leather pencil skirts, $20. Quirky, one-of-a-kind samples, $20. Run, do not walk, before all the good stuff goes to people like me (I made like a bandit and came out with 14 items). The sample sizes run anywhere from 2 to 8, with most samples a 4 or 6 (unmarked sizes, so that's an estimate). There is also a production rack with dresses at $60, separates for $40." [Racked Inbox]
