Matthew Terry revealed his fall collection for Coventry this afternoon at Cedar Lake in Chelsea, and the vibe was...autumnal. Models marched to eerie music around a beautiful floral structure in the middle of the circular runway. Between the soundtrack and the darkened studio's mood lighting, we felt like we'd woken up in the middle of a cool fall day. The clothing, however, was a bit underwhelming: Lots of charcoal coats, pullover hooded sweaters, and leather jackets of the sort you expect for fall. Generic or not, though, the clothes were obviously beautiful—just not as surprising as the gorgeous atmosphere.—Inae Oh
