Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.
It's Fashion Week, bring on the fabulous pop-up shops. First up: the YSL Edition Unisex boutique at 55 Great Jones and Bowery. The temporary store houses designer Stefano Pilati's brand new unisex line, and will travel to Europe after its ten day stay in Noho (you've got until February 21st to stop by). The white space is filled with racks and tables of beautiful lightweight luxe-casual goods perfect for a jaunt off to some warm, faraway clime: silk paperbag-waist trousers, organza trenches and cotton jersey tanks. Most pieces we picked up (and sadly put back) were priced in the low thousands. Payment plan, s'il vous plaît.
