Tipped off by the ever-vigilant blogger at Bowery Boogie to the imminent opening of Green Depot, we stopped by the environmental living and building store at 222 Bowery today to see how construction was going. It looks almost ready for its Thursday debut: inside, you can see shelves fully stocked with merchandise; this afternoon, workers were putting the finishing touches on the shop's exterior. In need of some long-life lightbulbs, or low-VOC paint? You know where you need to go.
